FAQ about Night in Rome

Is it safe to walk in Rome at night?

Absolutely! Rome is generally a safe city to explore at night, especially when you're in the company of a professional local guide. However, it's always important to take precautions to ensure your safety no matter where you are in the world. Stick to well-lit and populated areas, stay aware of your surroundings, and avoid walking alone in secluded areas. By following these simple tips, you can enjoy a relaxing and safe nighttime walk in Rome.

What to wear in Rome at night?

When it comes to what to wear for a night walk in Rome, comfort is key. Since you'll be walking for a few hours, wear comfortable and sturdy shoes. Rome's streets and sidewalks can be uneven, so ensure your footwear provides proper support. Additionally, the color of your clothes should preferably be light in order to work well in the night photos that you want to take for yourself.
The type of clothing you should wear depends on the time of year. During summer, it's best to wear lightweight and breathable fabrics to stay cool, while during the winter months, you'll want to dress in layers to keep warm.
