Segway Tours in Rome

Guided Tour by Segway is an excellent way to explore the Eternal City. We invite everyone who loves modern technologies to the unusual tour of Rome in multiple languages. It is ideally fits for couples or groups up to 5 persons.

Guided tours are in English, Italian, French, German, Russian and Spanish languages.

Route Options

There are several tours offered with different routes, distances and locations.

Classic Rome

This is morning tour by Segway where you will visit the classic sights of the Eternal City. In 3 hours you will see the Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Roman Forum and much more.

  • Duration: 3 hours
  • Departure: 10 am
  • Distance: 8 km
  • Price: 70 euro per person

Glory of Rome

This is afternoon tour where you will discover Rome’s history, from the ancient era to recent times. In 4 hours you will see: the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Castel Sant’Angelo, Pantheon and many more.

  • Duration: 4 hours
  • Departure: 2.30 pm
  • Distance: 12 km
  • Price: 80 euro per person

Evening Special

The tour starts at 7.30 pm and you can enjoy the Eternal City beautifully lit up after the sunset. This 2-hour evening Segway tour is an amazing and romantic experience for couples.

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Departure: 7.30 pm
  • Distance: 6 km
  • Price: 50 euro per person

Panoramic Tour

This tour goes daily at 10 am and 4 pm. You will discover the most beautiful panoramic views of Rome by Segway. Starting from the Aventine Hill, you will pass Circus Maximus and the Colosseum to reach the Capitoline Hill for a unique view of the Roman Forum.

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Departure: 10 am or 4 pm
  • Distance: 6 km
  • Price: 50 euro per person

Organizational Details

  • Departure time: depends on the kind of tour
  • Meeting point: Piazza Mattei, 11. The office located right in front of the Turtle Fountain. You can see how to get to the office herе. It is only 5 minutes walking distance from Piazza Venezia or 3 minutes from Largo Argentina.
  • Price per person: starting from 50 euro per person, depending on the tour you choose
  • Maximum number of participants: 5 people, you can be joined to the group. If there are less than 5 participants on the tour that you choose, the tour will be held even for 1-2 persons. If you want to book a Segway tour only for your group, the option costs +20 euro/person

What is included in the tour?

  2. Instruction on how to use a Segway and Segway itself
  3. Helmet
  4. Disposable raincoat (in case of rain)
  5. Sunscreen (summer time)
  6. Audio guide
  7. Coffee or a bottle of water

Participants have to be

  • Older than 12 years old
  • More than 40 kg and less that 110 kg
  • With the height from 140 cm

It is prohibited to ride a Segway under the influence of alcohol and / or drugs. The tour is not recommended for pregnant women.
